A STUDY TO FIND THE ASSOCIATION BETWEEN WORKPLACE BULLYING AND ITS EFFECTING ON JOB PERFORMANCE AMONG UNIVERSITY TEACHERS OF PUNJAB

چکیده

The study aimed to investigate the association between workplace bullying and job performance among university teachers in Punjab. research design used was descriptive, convenient sampling employed collect data from 110 different faculties of universities all over Two survey tools were used: Workplace Bullying Scale (WBS) a self-developed questionnaire consisting 11 statements regarding teachers. analysis revealed that negatively affects performance, female with less experience experienced more bullying. findings suggest causes damage teachers' psychological health, lowers their self-esteem confidence, depression, sometimes leads quitting job. A significant positive found performance. Finally, recommended implementing policies procedures eliminate academic institutions. Keywords: bullying, teachers, Punjab, self-esteem, confidence
